Therapeutic Services
Therapeutic services, provided by qualified mental health professionals, guide students through difficult situations by helping them process their thoughts, feelings, and actions. Individual and Family Therapy is a vital component to helping students cope with their challenges and enable them to improve their ability to get along with others. Individual community support services coordinate and link the student with community-based opportunities that are both needed and desired. Skill training courses are provided twice daily and cover a variety of topics including: effective communication, high-risk behaviors, building self-confidence, becoming socially responsible, and managing difficult situations. Group therapy services are also available and cover topics including: Anger Management, Depression, Relationship Building, and Alcohol & Drug Counseling.

Educational Services
The curricula for the core academic courses (Math, Language Arts, Science, Social Studies) available at the Webster Street Academy are provided through a computer software package, entitled PLATO. This package allows students to work at various academic levels, ranging from elementary to high school. The Webster Street Academy also offers students a variety of learning environments including self-directed (computer-based instruction is the primary method of instruction) and teacher assisted (individual and/or small group tutoring is the primary method of instruction).
